Cybersecurity in the Age of AI: Emerging Threats
and Strategic Opportunities

This conference is an international forum for researchers and practitioners interested in theory and advances in intelligent systems and information technologies as well as applications of artificial intelligence methods. This year, the CISIT 2026 conference will focus on the threats and opportunities of using artificial intelligence in cybersecurity. It will be a special place for exchanging views and ideas, as well as for meetings between security specialists.
Honoring Excellence: Prizes for the Best Papers
The organizers of the CISIT 2026 Conference, hosted by the Institute of Computer Science at the Faculty of Exact and Natural Sciences of the University of Siedlce in collaboration with the IEEE CS Poland Chapter Unit CH08109, will evaluate the papers and presentations of young researchers – including graduates from the 2025-26 academic year and students – CISIT Conference participants.
Rules for awarding prizes and honors for the best papers
Following the rules for awarding prizes and honors for the best papers, the Steering Committee evaluated both the paper reviews and the presentations delivered during the conference sessions.
In young researchers group (master’s degree graduates of the 2025 – 26 academic year):
- First Place – Przemysław Koć, Artur Niewiadomski, Andrzej Sędek and Mateusz Przychodzki. VR Therapy S-eAI: Local AI for Emotion-Aware Conversational VR Training Award: 1,200 PLN funded by the IEEE Computer Society Poland Chapter Unit, plus a certificate.
- Second Place – Alicja Rojek and Dariusz Mikułowski. Modeling a City Space To Support Orientation Skils Of the Blind Users With a Dedicated Ontology And a Neighborhood Graph.

In students group (together with engineering and bachelor’s degree graduates of the 2025 – 26 academic year):
- First Place (ex aequo):

Matas Pieczulis, Miroslaw Szaban and Franciszek Seredynski. Theoretical Concepts and Practical Development of a Simulator for Real-time Combat of Swarm Drones.
